SRBC Weight Loss Challenge It's a New Year and time for our 3rd Annual Weight Loss Challenge here at SRBC. Over the past 2 years, we've been able to shed more than 500 pounds of weight and we're hoping to do the same thing this year. The infamous scale is in Bryce's office and you can remain anonymous if you'd like (Bryce will give you a number so no one else knows your weight!). The cost to enter the challenge is $10 and the top winner gets to bless a ministry of the church with 70% of the winnings while 2nd place will bless a ministry with 30% of the winnings. The 12 Week Weight Loss Challenge will begin on January 22nd (January 25th if you choose to weigh in on Wednesdays ) and will conclude on April 15th. Let's shed some pounds for the glory of God!

Volunteers Needed
Marriage Matters If you or someone you know could use some help strengthening their marriage, please consider Marriage Matters counseling. Jim and Jane Kramer have been trained in this program and are wiling to meet with couples from our church or surrounding communities. Sessions are approximately one hour in length and meet 4-6 times. If you know of an engaged couple, please consider Lincoln and Lindsay Eekhoff who are willing to work with premarital counseling through Marriage Matters. Our marriages are important: please call Jim at 641-858-6085 or Jane at 319-231-2272 if interested. Or contact Lincoln and Lindsay at 641-868-2032.
Sound Operators There is a need for a few more sound board operators. We are inviting anyone who is interested to come any Wednesday evening and sit in during a practice. It would be an opportunity for them to see what happens and learn how changing the settings changes the sound. Our practice times are from 6:30-7:45pm.
Focus Team The Focus Team needs your help! If you know of an event happening at Steamboat Rock Baptist, would you call one of the team members OR turn in some pictures to the team which can be used on the bulletin board? This will help the team and also keep others informed of what is going on. Thanks, The Focus Team Jeannie Schuneman, Vanessa Babcock, Ashley Stahl, Kitty Hemmen
