An Invitation to Invest
Does it even seem possible to be reading an April newsletter article already? If not, I’m with you as March absolutely flew by! As we turn the calendar to April, we want to make you aware of two great opportunities to get behind a couple youth fundraisers that our team is holding for the 2025 Youth Gathering Mission Trip.
The SRBC Master’s Putt Putt Tournament
On Sunday, April 6th, our church building will be transformed into an epic 18-hole miniature golf course. We will do a shotgun start on all 18 holes, to ensure a fun, smooth round of friendly competition by all of our teams. We currently have over 30 people helping put together some super fun, challenging, and creative holes. Another fun element to this course is that we utilize the entire church building, including the Fellowship Hall, Main Street, Sanctuary, Youth Loft, stairs, and basement. Our basement holes will even include a completely dark, blacklight glow hole!
Whether you’re a family looking for a fun afternoon or a senior saint who hasn’t played miniature golf in a while, we know you’ll have a great time. So, grab a few friends and sign up with your 4-person team. All $100 of your team registration will go to support our students to get to the Youth Gathering. We will also serve super nachos and drinks at each of our tee times!
Team and individual awards, as well as our Green Jacket Ceremony will follow golf at each of our tee times.
** We will have over 40 putters on hand for individuals/groups to use, but please feel free to bring your own if you’re able! **

Youth Easter Brunch
Back by popular demand is the Pancake Easter Brunch! Our Youth Gathering students and leaders will be serving up some delicious brunch for you and your family to enjoy. Our Easter Brunch menu is: Fresh, buttermilk pancakes, little smokies, fruit, yogurt bar, and juice. Free will donation with a fundraising goal of $3,700. We will be able to serve you no matter what service you attend on Easter.

All for The Mission
And what exactly is your investment for? This summer, our team of 40 students and leaders have a unique opportunity to gather with other youth groups from our NAB churches throughout the U.S. & Canada. This is the only event that the NAB hosts to accomplish this partnership and focus. We unite as a larger group of 300-400 participants to be a blessing to the people of Southern California, serving alongside two local Christian organizations run by NAB individuals/churches called Love Orange & Love Anaheim. During the night, we worship and are challenged by dynamic speakers followed by group debrief time. The Youth Gathering has been such a valuable part of our youth ministry over the years, providing both first time decisions to follow Jesus and continued spiritual growth among our teens.
