The Lighthouse Center of Hope
The Lighthouse Center of Hope, located at 17 Thompson Ave. in Iowa Falls is a non-profit, pro-life organization that supports expectant mothers and families. At the Lighthouse Center of Hope, they welcome clients without judgement and with open loving arms. When they look to scripture, they can see clearly what the Lord would have us believe about the unborn, that are made with a purpose and created for good and not evil.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not evil, to give you future and a hope” Jeremiah 29:11
They offer a variety of services for our community and surrounding communities such as free pregnancy testing, sexual health education, parenting and preparing for birth classes, adoption, adoption referrals, infant loss and abortion grief support, post rape support, bible studies, and support groups for moms.
They also offer care and mentoring through a difficult time. Young men and women can learn about the importance of moral character, self-control, and patience. Young couples learn why children benefit from a mother and a father joined in the faithfulness of marriage. They offer mental and spiritual support for broken hearts that are healing from the loss of a child through miscarriage or abortion. They are there in your time of need to achieve success in life, which can often be overwhelming. To reap the benefit of the things provided by The Lighthouse a person has to apply themselves and be willing to participate in the programs such as attend bible studies and other programs offered.
Prayer needs:
Diapers size 4,5, and 6. Please not the cheap one as they cause rashes and fall apart
Monetary funds for things such as media for educational purposes and of course clothing for the clothing closet
A huge need is an assistant. If you want to give to their ministry, there will be a table in the main street for you to bring your things to.
