Missions Conference August 9-10, 2025 - Come Meet Your Missionaries and Find Out Where You Fit In!

Please plan to attend our church’s missions conference on August 9-10, 2025! Come to receive an update on the ministries of four of your supported missionaries and find out where you fit in! Maybe you need to pray more regularly for our missionaries or support them financially? Or build a more personal relationship with one or more of our missionary families? Perhaps you would consider going on a short-term or long-term missions trip? Come to our conference to learn more!

Here are the participants and the schedule:

As you can see, we will kick off the conference with a fun evening on Saturday, August 9th. We will be providing grilled burgers and all the fixings, but ask you to bring your favorite salad, side dish, or dessert to share with the potluck meal. We will hear briefly from Dan Andrews, Randy Schmor, and Shan Reed before Forrest Dawkins shares about his important ministry with international students UNI and HCC. A love offering will be taken for the four missionaries participating in our conference to help defray their conference expenses.

Sunday, August 10th will be a bit different, in that we are providing three different opportunities for you to hear from our missionaries in a workshop-type format. That’s right, there will be a different speaker at the 8:30 a.m. service, the 9:30 Pathways Class, and the 10:30 a.m. service. Please plan to attend all three “workshops” that Sunday morning so you can hear from all of the speakers. You will even enjoy special refreshments during the Pathways class as a “pick-me-up” during the morning!

More information will follow in the coming weeks, including how you can sign up for the Saturday evening event, hospitality opportunities, and a conference brochure.

Mark your calendars now for August 9-10th so you can join our missions conference, meet your missionaries, hear about their ministries, and find out where you fit in in the world of missions yourself.
